Oracle adds its Cloud Infrastructure-Government to the Ashburn, Va., and Phoenix, Ariz., government cloud regions.
Oracle announced its Oracle Cloud Infrastructure-Government for the Ashburn, Va., and Phoenix, Ariz., regions has achieved authorization by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program. The enterprise infrastructure- and platform-as-a-service offering features machine-learning enabled applications and security, automated analytics and the Oracle Autonomous Database, which the company described as "the first self-driving database that can automatically encrypt data, back itself up, tune itself, upgrade itself and automatically patch itself when a security threat is detected."
The company is also extending its Microsoft interoperability into its government regions so that joint Oracle and Microsoft government customers can more easily move applications to the cloud, preserve their existing technology investments and take advantage of next-generation cloud-native technologies.
According to company officials, Oracle expects to open an average of one region every 23 days globally over the next 15 months for a total of 20 additional regions (17 commercial and three government).

- Netskope's Security Cloud Platform provides a data-centric approach to security, whether on-prem, cloud, web or a hybrid model.
- Infor's NewPay solution offers human capital management services to replace complex processes, workflows, and systems.
- Ex Libris' Alma library services platform and Primo discovery solution allow libraries to manage all of their resource types -- print, electronic and digital -- within a single interface.
- Dell Boomi's platform unites legacy, on-premise and cloud-based applications in a digital ecosystem for a broad range of end-to-end integration capabilities.
- Adobe's Campaign enables personalized customer experiences across online and offline channels while honoring user choices.
- Adobe's Analytics offers capabilities for analyzing online engagements across devices.
