Stenbit has said he will retire after the Senate confirms his successor. President Bush's nominee is Francis Joseph Harvey, vice chairman of Duratek Inc. of Columbia, Md.
Harvey previously was chief operating officer of Westinghouse Electric Co.'s industries and technology group. He also was president of Northrop Grumman Corp.'s Westinghouse electronic systems group.
Kendra Warren is the acting program manager of the Defense Commissary Agency's new IT Program Management Office at its Fort Lee, Va., headquarters.
Warren, named CIO in 2002, is responsible for planning, developing, managing and testing a broad range of IT programs for DOD's supermarket agency.
Before coming to DeCA, she was deputy director of financial information systems for the Air Force Materiel Command's Electronic Systems Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
President Bush plans to nominate Stuart Levey as undersecretary of the Treasury for enforcement to lead the new Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence. Levey currently is principal associate deputy attorney general.
The president also plans to nominate Juan Zarate to be assistant secretary of the Treasury for terrorist financing. Zarate is Treasury's deputy assistant secretary for the Executive Office of Terrorist Financing and Financial Crime, which is soon to become part of the new Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.
Tina Westby Jones, chief financial officer and assistant director of the FBI Finance Division, has been nominated as undersecretary of Defense for finance. If confirmed, she would replace Dov Zakheim.
