The former commander of the Joint Transformation Command for Intelligence has left government service to take over as director of strategic programs at Tenix America.

Reiske graduated from The Citadel and holds a master's degree in strategic intelligence from the Defense Intelligence College. He became commander of the U.S. Joint Forces Intelligence Command in October 2000. It was renamed Joint Transformation Command-Intelligence in April.Navy Capt. Susan M. Chiaravalle replaced Reiske as commander of JTC-I.

The former commander of the Joint Transformation Command for Intelligence has left government service to take over as the new director of strategic programs at Tenix America of McLean, Va.

In the new position, William F. Reiske will push Tenix's Cross-Domain Connectivity Solutions to the Defense Department and intelligence agencies.

'The ability to communicate critical intelligence and data across varying networks and classification levels is imperative to keeping America safe, and Reiske has direct and expansive experience in this realm,' said Sam Maccherola, president of Tenix America.

Reiske worked in intelligence, operations and management in the federal government for more than 15 years. Most recently, he served as commander of the Joint Transformation Command for Intelligence based in Norfolk, Va., where he rapidly realigned a $60 million, 400-person enterprise into an organization focused on transforming joint operational intelligence for the DOD, according to a Tenix news release.

Among its functions, JTC-I:

  • Provides the Joint Intelligence Lab where intelligence concepts, processes, technologies and prototypes are tested

  • Creates a joint intelligence environment for experimentation, training and operations

  • Evaluates new intelligence analysis concepts, techniques and networks.
