Software tool links application design directly with business requirements for the development of modern IT systems.
MEGA, a pioneer in enterprise architecture and business process
analysis solutions, today introduced MEGA System Blueprint, a
software tool that links application design directly with business
requirements for the development of modern IT systems, especially
highly complex applications, very large IT projects and
service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions.
MEGA System Blueprint is designed for the development and
integration of software applications; it is an addition to the MEGA
Modeling Suite for creating a complete environment for advanced IT
system design. This approach ensures full alignment with the
strategic and operational requirements demanded by the
organization, its people, and processes.
With MEGA System Blueprint, users can define any kind of
specification, including SOA projects, covering requirements
analysis, functional specifications, and system design. It allows
application design metadata to be stored close to information on
business processes and IT architecture in a shared, central
repository that provides extreme flexibility, impact analysis and
automated publication.
MEGA System Blueprint provides a model-driven approach for the
analysis and design of applications, and focuses on the logical
specification of an IT architecture supporting a business activity.
MEGA System Blueprint, following the best principles of Business
Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), SOA and UML 2.0, integrates the
modeling disciplines of enterprise architecture, business process
modeling and object oriented analysis and design.
Technical requirements are modeled using UML 2.0 enriched with
BPMN to support the complete specification of systems from a
business process perspective. MEGA System Blueprint includes
dedicated service-blueprint models to design the orchestration of
services and their interoperation.
MEGA System Blueprint is available immediately and is priced
beginning at $4,000.
