About 25 percent of residents over age 3 are students. Younger students will have access to about 13.6 million computers in the nation's 111,000 elementary and secondary schools. That's about one computer for every four students. About 80 percent of children ages 6 to 17 use a computer at school, while two-thirds have access to one at home.
