Corel Visual Intelligence (Corel Quattro Pro, Microsoft Excel): Offered by Corel largely for its Quattro spreadsheet ' though it also works for Excel -- Visual Intelligence uses a variety of options for creating graphics, data visualizations, fast what-if analyses of spreadsheet data. It basically lets users play with the data, without the need of vast spreadsheet expertise, said Greg Wood, a communications manager for Corel.Microsoft PerformancePoint (Microsoft Excel): PerformancePoint brings business intelligence capabilities to Microsoft Office. It can restructure the appearance of data into ways that make it more readily understood, said Mbwana Alliy, Microsoft product manager for Excel, Access and business intelligence. Users can establish and then monitor key performance indicators, as well as visualize information. EditGrid Excel Plus (Excel): EditGrid is an online spreadsheet, with emphasis on drawing live data from the Web. EditGrid has introduced a beta of a plug-in that can stream the live data from EditGrid into users' versions of Excel.LJZsoft XLReportGen 3.5.0 (Excel): XLReportGen is actually a collection of Excel templates for creating business intelligence reports. The templates provide the stylistic formatting as well as the Structured Query Language commands for drawing data from a relational database.
